Biden Gives Reporters 4-Word Response Amid Pressure to Drop Out

Under increasing pressure from his party to step down, President Joe Biden declared to reporters at the White House that he plans to stay in the November race.

«I’m not going anywhere,» Biden stated.

During last week’s debate on CNN against former President Donald Trump, Biden struggled to respond clearly to questions and articulate his plans. Now, Democratic lawmakers, donors, and analysts are urging him to withdraw from the race before the convention.

On the White House lawn, Biden praised WWII veterans as heroes who fought for freedom and democracy. This speech aimed to convince his supporters of his capability to challenge Trump. Concluding his address, Biden reiterated his determination to stay in the 2024 race.

«You got me, man. I’m not going anywhere. Alright,» Biden told reporters. «I used to think, when I was a Senator, there was always congestion on the highways. Now, there’s no congestion! We go out on the highway, and it’s clear!»

He added, «They say, ‘we just shut down all the roads, Mr. President. You’ll lose all the votes if you don’t get in,’ but anyway.»

Mediaite reported: «According to multiple reports, Biden met privately with Democratic governors at the White House on Wednesday evening to reassure them about his candidacy. The president mentioned he needed more rest and instructed his staff to avoid scheduling events for him after 8 p.m.»
